Some Davy Force 3D mapped machines over sweet Brummbaer 3D caverns
A fantastic gig from 2012 was animation directing the 90 min. visuals show for Infected Mushroom’s FungusAmongUs tour, at Vsquared Labs. The result is an architecturally projection mapped spectacle that now tours the world. Creative director Vello Virkhaus and VSquared Producer Anastasia King challenged our animation team to create a 90 min. animated piece that takes the users on a visual journey to accompany the Infected Mushroom live set. Our 90 min. piece was created with a skeleton animation crew of Carlo Sa, Jesse Nikette, Pete Sistrom, Adam Smith and myself @ Vsquared labs, with add’l animation being created offsite by 3D Fractal wunderkind, Brummbaer, as well as Rhode Island super studio Treanor Brothers animation. We likened the result to a “new” version of The Minds Eye videos from the 90’s- lots of psychedelic CGI animation. The live set is live VJed by VSquared’s Jesse Nikette on a custom system programmed by touch wizard Pete Sistrom at VSquared. Aweome set pieces designed/built by Heather Shaw and crew at Vita Modus. Was tremendous working with Erez and Duvdev from Infected and all their people.

An awesome job from 2010/2011 was the package of visuals for multiple artist residencies at the Marquee nightclub in Vegas. I co-directed LMFAO’s portion along with project directors Vello Virkhaus and Emilo Sa, and did the design/animation on the visuals. The party rock crew is right up my alley visually and great folks to hang with as well. Matt Hale and myself took a ride on their wild party rock bus and – gotta say- this is one wild crew! Thanks to Red Foo and the entire Party Rock Crew, and not forgetting- everyone at Vsquared Labs!
