One of the most viewed “cool” pieces I’ve worked on was the opening sequence for Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job (with help from T&E and influence from Animal Charm’s Rich Bott and Jim Fetterley). The longest running animation I worked on would be the pre-movie cinema logo for Arclight Theatres with I co-directed with animation wizard Paul Vester at Ka-Chew! Have directed/designed/animated around 10 or so title sequences for TV shows, most of which have withered away into videodust, as well as bunches of broadcast TV commercials. Other highlights include working with my heros Mark Mothersbaugh and DEVO as well as Steve Martin. In the old days in Chicago (90-99) worked as an animator for uber cool boutiques H-GUN Labs and RUNANDGUN Inc. as well as OPTIMUS (a full service post house). Also taught 3D computer animation at Columbia College Chicago from 90-96. At RUNANDGUN, I supervised Timothy Leary’s 3D head scan just before he died (Duelin’ Firemen) and was animation director (with the RUNANDGUN crew) for the first Foo Fighters video (“I’ll Stick Around“) with director Gerald Casale from DEVO. Graduated in ’90 from Columbia College Chicago with a BA majoring in film production.
